Lying on the south bank of the Qiantang River mouth, Shaoxing City is widely famed for its plenty of natural and man-made wonders, scenic water towns and attractive cultural relics. Shaoxing is popularly well-known for its water and bridges, as well as for its wine and contributions to Chinese calligraphy.
